Charitable giving accounts

With the protection of Direct Debit and backed by the reputation of top-line charities, charitable giving accounts are an extremely helpful and efficient way of managing planned giving and making giving tax efficient. Accounts can be managed by post, phone or online and the giver chooses where, when and how much to give.
Stewardship is the chief provider of charitable giving accounts to the Christian community in the UK, offering a range of giving accounts for different situations; including family, student and major donor accounts. To respond to requests for more information on giving accounts ring Stewardship to request hard copies of their current brochure and application forms (0208 502 5600) or encourage folk to visit the Stewardship website. Stewardship giving accounts allow people to support charities and churches, full-time Christian workers and bible college students tax effectively and to give anonymously where desired. Gifts are made by BACS transfer and the giving account holds money not yet gifted ready for distribution. A small fee is charged to cover administration costs. The largest provider of charitable giving accounts in the UK, the Charities Aid Foundation, offers a range of products that have similar fees, features and flexibility.
