at the Aintree Launch Conference - 2005

Giving in Grace was launched at a major Diocesan conference in March 2005.The venue was full to capacity (and beyond!) with some 580 delegates representing parishes from across the Diocese. Both Bishop James (25 minutes) and Bishop David (12 minutes) spoke powerfully and their talks are available in Windows Media and industry standard Real media formats.

Simply right click on the icon, select Save As and save it to your hard disk. If you wish the file can then be burnt onto a CD ROM for individual and small group use. Consider the following options:

• use the audio files at an early meeting of the planning group to focus attention on the essentially spiritual nature of the Giving in Grace programme
• encourage planning group members to listen to the addresses prior to the first planning group meeting.
• use the shorter address of Bishop David at a PCC meeting. This could form a part of the initial presentation of Giving in Grace to the PCC.
• one church has made the audio files available to all house group leaders and encouraged them to play the files at their group meetings.
