Presenting Godly Play

The pictures below illustrate how one parish, Holy Trinity Wavertree, presented the completed Godly Play tableaux to the wider congregation as part of Giving in Grace. Once the Godly Play exercises had been completed with the children and/or adults the contents of the boxes were recreated in a series of mini tableaux built up over the weeks of the Preach Exodus! series. In this way there is a continuity in the story for the children, and a visual link between the Ministry of the Word for children and adults. At Holy Trinity this was particularly important because adults and children explored the Exodus story separately most weeks but came together at the monthly all age worship service.
