Annual Review Document:
Review Design

It is no accident that the design of the Annual Review comes at the end of the Annual Review Document. The approach taken to the Sunday service that forms the focus of the Review (and the core elements of prayer, preaching, leadership, communication and interaction that cluster around it) is dependant upon the Planning Group's intentions. Once the Planning Group has agreed on the feel of the Annual Review, section five of the Annual Review Document provides a simple and familiar structure:

• Preaching is a significant part of the process of Christian formation in the hearts and minds of believers and should be a normative element of the Annual Review. See Preaching and the Annual Review
• Communication is essential as always. Letters saying thank you, sharing the vision for the year ahead and encouraging a review of giving, are available as templates along with a brochure updating the challenge. See Communication and the Annual Review
• Leadership that both models and practices stewardship is essential if stewardship principles are to be embedded into the life of the church. See Leadership and the Annual Review
• Interaction provides opportunities to engage more personally with the congregation through small group studies, or through a targeted approach to parish visiting. See Interaction and the Annual Review
