Timetable

The six months leading up to Giving in Grace will be busy ones developing the strands of the programme and developing
a data base. Monthly meetings of the planning group will be necessary and agenda and checklists are included to
help smooth the way and help you achieve your potential.

Leadership

Leaders are called to lead and giving in grace is most rigorous on leaders! The
PCC or DCC are called to be able to articulate the needs of the church, its plans and financial consequences then to own and commit to it individually before leading the whole church. This rigour will help the church council in its understanding - both biblical and financial, its vision and its discipleship. We make no apologies for
this discipline.

Prayer

Without prayer we are merely fundraising. Prayer is an essential to the health and vitality of giving in grace if it is to be seen and practised as an act of worship. Liturgical resources are included suitable
for Sunday services together with creative engagement for all age prayer and worship

Preaching

Giving in grace rests on the word. This section has a variety of resources to
help you plan and deliver a preaching programme on giving for your
congregation, young people and children. Financial presentations and sketches
are included as part of Sunday teaching materials

Communication

The key to communication in Giving in Grace is meeting people where they are.
All key communication is differentiated so that you get a message appropriate to you! Also included are the gift aid materials needed to effectively manage and communicate a gift aid scheme.

Interaction

Relationships are at the heart of the issue
of giving. Ideas for interaction include the traditional visiting and home group programmes together with new all age interactive worship ideas. Less traditionally visiting of the core leadership of the
church, and follow up visiting is included
as best practice with training packages to help develop your leadership.

Annual Review

Christian giving is not a short term requirement but an act of faithfulness. It needs regular review, so that we do not diminish our worship and witness by failing to adequately resource the ministry of our church. Without a framework and reminder very few people in the congregation will consciously review their giving to the church, on an annual basis. Hence the need for a structured Annual Review.
