Agenda for the second Planning Meeting

  1. Opening prayer.
  2. Case Statement:
    a) Review the written draft of the strengths, weaknesses and plans in Section 1.
    b) Review the financial analysis prepared for this meeting and begin to draw out the financial conclusions in Section 3.
    c) Review and amend the Parish Plan prepared for this meeting.
    The leadership coordinator takes responsibility for producing the draft case statement for the PCC/DCC.
  3. Key Principle: Differentiation
    a) Review together the Differentiation discussion paper.
    b) Using the document Building the Database as guidance, agree an outline of the definitions of core, congregation and fringe.
    The communication coordinator will prepare a differentiated database to be reviewed at the next meeting.
  4. Communication:
    The communication coordinator introduces the elements of written literature:
    brochure
    letters
    response forms
  5. Prayer:
    The prayer coordinator introduces a discussion on prayer for the programme, using the document Why Prayer Matters and outlines the prayer and liturgical resources available.
  6. Go through planning checklist
  7. Confirm date, time and venue of next meeting - which should be before the PCC/DCC meeting devoted to Giving in Grace.
  8. Closing prayer.
