Using Giving in Grace
A vicar, tongue firmly in cheek, began a service by saying that the church welcomed all denominations: £20, £10, and £5! Many churches have noted significant financial increases as a result of running a Giving in Grace programme. However, in the spirit of Giving in Grace the extensive materials on this web site are made freely available for the whole church of God. We invite you to use and adapt the materials to resource your own stewardship programme.
Church Urban Fund
If Giving in Grace proves to be a blessing to your church please consider making a gift to support the ongoing work of the Church Urban Fund. Established in 1987, to date some £55 million has been allocated in grants to support ministry and mission in faith communities in some of the most needy communities in England. Click to the Church Urban Fund page for information and case studies on the work of CUF.
Copyright
When using these resources please respect our copyright but feel to use and adapt the material as extensively as is appropriate in your church setting. Quite naturally Giving in Grace retains the feel of an Anglican programme. However, the essential principles are those of biblically based Christian stewardship. The experience of parishes around the country confirms our hope that this resource can richly bless churches of all traditions and denominations in urban, suburban and rural settings.
Feedback
We would very much value your feedback on both the content of these resources and especially the evaluation of the programme in your church or diocese. Constructive feedback and criticism helps us revise the site and we welcome samples of new resources. We have been delighted to include new resources based on Luke's Gospel from the Diocese of Winchester, case studies from parishes outside of Liverpool. we are pleased also to acknowledge the advice and experience of Ian Clark in the Diocese of Chichester. Email Gordon Fath with comments and feedback.
Thank you.
