Written in 2015, it was collated as trends suggested that the traditional offertory was no longer meeting the fiscal demands of modern day church missional and practical needs.

An analogy: Once upon a time, you could say that the offertory made up ‘the whole pie’. The offertory would cover all the costs of the mission and ministry for the average church. Whereas nowadays, for a lot of churches the offertory makes up two-thirds or only half of the pie - not managing to cover their costs even with generous giving, so the rest of the pie must be made up by alternative methods of raising funds.

The book offers practical guidance for exploring new ways to help churches meet their financial needs in order to carry out the treasured mission and ministry we are called to.
