The Programme
This fully resourced stewardship programme will yield financial resources for mission and help build a culture of generous discipleship.
These comprehensive resources will enable clergy and lay leaders to create over time a culture of stewardship in the local church, and grow generous givers to release Christians to ‘excel in the grace of giving’.
2 Corinthians 8:7
Planning Group
Your starting point, and key to a successful programme is a small, committed planning team who will pray and plan and be accountable to the leadership of the church.
Because the planning group are acting on behalf of the charity trustees, they will take note of the Code of Fundraising Practice.

With the financial data to hand, the planning group will, a) review and draw conclusions from the financial data, b) reflect on the ministry and missional needs of the church c) reflect briefly on the stewardship ministry of the church, and d) settle on a simple budget to reflect the needs and aspirations of the church, and e) finalise the financial target and the gift array.
