Other resources

There are some high-quality youth and children's resources in the UK from both a secular and a faith perspective that will help with financial capability and growing up generous amidst the pressures of a consumer culture. An internet search for 'teaching stewardship to children' will unearth other resources – 3.6 million hits in fact!
Young People Giving for Life is a creative resource, five sessions exploring the giving of time, talents and treasure from the diocese of Southwell and Nottingham. Two study booklets for children, Give Save Spend for 7s and under and The Secret for 8 to 12-year-olds, are at Your Money Counts. Dig deeper at Young Money, the financial education resource within Young Enterprise (formerly the Personal Finance Education Group). For older kids and students check out The Money Charity website, the UK’s Financial Capability charity.

The resource book, Messy Church 3 (session 13) covers money and don't miss the excellent Messy Money resources. Last but not least, Victoria Beech's Godventures has superb generosity resources for kids - put 'generosity' in the search bar and explore.
